City of Iowa Park’s Mayor Pro Tern Sherrie Williams participated in the Texas Municipal League (TML) and Texas Association of Mayors, Councilmembers and Commissioners’ (TAMCC) Elected Officials’ Conference, March 4-6, at the Embassy Suites in Frisco.

In an effort to raise money for a Wichita County Memorial honoring fallen deputies and volunteer firefighters, Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Alumni Association members are selling bricks that will be laid around the statues.

After checking on a vehicle parked in the 400 block of SW Access Road at 12:48 a.m. Wednesday, officers took Christina Renee Perez, 37, into custody on a Denton County warrant for motion to proceed with adjudication/possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to Wichita County jail.
