Iowa Park athletes were successful at their own Hawk Relays Thursday, wiith the Lady Hawk varsity taking first place in the team standings, and the Hawk varsity was edged by City View 136 to 135 for the top spot.
The state’s second-ranked Iowa Park Lady Hawk softball team improved to 22-2 over the past week, outscoring opponents 43-3 in three wins, including a 14-2 non-conference win over Grandview Friday.
Iowa Park’s Hawk baseball team outscored their last three opponents by a combined 34-1 runs this past week to improve to 12-5 on the season, 5-0 in district play.
Iowa Park’s Hawk golf team captured the District 5-4A title this week, finishing with a two-round total of 700, 19 strokes ahead of second place Burkburnett.
Iowa Park’s varsity Hawk tennis team competed this past weekend in the Abilene High Tournament, a final tuneup before the district tournament today and tomorrow on the local courts.
Iowa Park’s Hawk baseball team improved to 3-0 in District 5-4A this past week with a 12-5 win over Mineral Wells Friday, and a 7-0 victory over Burkburnett Tuesday.
