P.E.T.S. HELD A SHOT CLINIC at the Iowa Park Animal Reclaim Center Saturday where 75 pets were serviced. Of those 75 approximately 10 were cats. Friday final day to file in local elections

Deadline for filing for a place on the ballot in the city and school May 1 election is Friday, Feb. 12. At this time only incumbents have filed to run for the places up for election on the Iowa Park school board and city council.

Council abandons unopened rights-of-way

In a short meeting Monday the Iowa Park City Council voted to abandon several unopened rights-of-way, set the minimum space size in RV parks, and approved the purchase of a Chlorine and Sulphur Dioxide metering system.
