Last Friday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott allowed Texas restaurants to re-open their dining rooms, with restrictions, after being closed since March 21 due to the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
Vandals did extensive damage to the east side Gordon Lake rest rooms sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning that has resulted in the restrooms on both sides of the lake being closed during the evening and night time hours.
SEWER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS - Bowles Construction continues to replace sewer mains in Iowa Park. The company started with the lift station and sewer main on the north east part of town and are now working on the south side main. The replacing on the south side will include the high pressure line running from East Valley, up Wall Street to Chestnut Street and west on Chestnut to the waste water treatment plant.
