A hamburger feed and silent auction will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at S&H Solar, 211 N. Wall, to benefit five-year-old Miguel Marin who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in December 2020.

During the month of February permits for 16 projects, mostly roof repairs, were taken out at city hall.

The Iowa Park Garden Club members viewed a video entitled “Birds of the Backyard” during their regular meeting held Friday, Feb. 26, at the RAC. The video included topics such as how to convert your backyard into a wild bird sanctuary and identification of common birds during winter, spring and summer.

Three weeks after a fire destroyed the south hall of Iowa Park Health Care Center, work is about to begin to make repairs needed to get the 23 residents back to their home.
