Activity warmed up in the upcoming city council election as Taylor Kelley filed Friday to run against incumbent Ray Schultz for Mayor. Geral Frazier is challenging Jeffrey Pogatshnik for Place 2 on the council, and incumbent Lori Shierry is running upopposed for Place 4.
Early voting is underway for the March 1 Democratic and Republican primary elections and will continue through Friday, Feb. 25. Candidates for statewide and county offices will be on the ballot.
