Iowa Park’s JV Hawk football team traveled to Brock Thursday night, falling to the Eagles 36-20. The Hawks spotted the Eagles two early scores off of Iowa Park turnovers.
For a bit more than one half of play Friday in Memorial Stadium, Iowa Park and Burkburnett knocked heads in their typical cross-county rivalry, but the Mean Green stole the second half with 35 unanswered points to take the non-conference win 49-12.
With district play starting Tuesday, Iowa Park’s Lady Hawks had a quality week of non-conference action with wins over Windthorst and Christ Academy, and a loss to a talented Rider squad.
