One of my favorite writers, Anne Lamott, famously said there are three prayers - “Help”, “Thank You,” and “Wow”. Actually she wrote a whole book about it, and I highly recommend it.
For many of us, including me, the prominent prayer for the year of our Lord 2020 has been “help(!)”.
