A majority of the 20 building permits taken out at city hall during the month of September was for roof repairs, but also included a permit for the new ag barn at the high school and a new residence.
The name of Zachary Wineinger, a sixth grader at W.F. George Middle School, was left off the school’s first six week’s AA honor roll published in last week’s edition of the Leader.
Jaden Blake Almendarez, 18, was taken into custody at 8:18 p.m. in the 1300 block of Mary Drive on a warrant for terroristic threat. He was transported to Wichita County jail.
