There are things I can talk about here concerning Iowa Park’s 28-21 comeback win over Canadian Friday night that I just can’t in a regular story, because I would just be editorializing too much. And my dad always said not to do that.
Here we are, folks. School is starting in Iowa Park today. And the Hawks will get their first chance to put a hit on a player from another school during tonight’s scrimmage against the Hirschi Huskies (6:30, Memorial Stadium).
It was bound to happen, what with technology paired with my rapidly limited ability to understand exactly how and why a smart TV works. It was just a matter of time before one or both of my kids would begin to get what I would call “my parents are aging texts.”
