School board works through lengthy agenda

Iowa Park school board dealt with numerous agenda items Thursday night during their regular meeting at the IPHS library, including construction updates, start of the new school year, refinancing the 2012 school bond, and approval of the 2020 budget and tax rate.

Hawks to scrimmage Hirschi tonight

NO STRUCTURES BURNED

NO STRUCTURES BURNED - Iowa Park Volunteer Fire Department requested mutual aid from Wichita West, Burkburnett and Sheppard Air Force Base Fire Departments to help fight a large grassfire Thursday afternoon. The fire started as a grassfire, but got into some abandoned vehicles resulting in a black ball of smoke that could be seen for miles. Chamber of Commerce showing local police love through collective action

In an effort to show Iowa Park Police Officers they are appreciated members of the Iowa Park Chamber of Commerce have rallied together and raised funds to feed the officers at least twice a week since mid-July.
