Iowa Park Police Department’s awards ceremony was held Friday morning in the city council chambers to recognize police officers and communications officers for their outstanding achievements.
Charles Biggs, 20, was taken into custody at 5:17 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of W. Highway on a Wichita Falls Police Department warrant for sexual assault of a child.
The regular meeting of the Iowa Park City Council on May 9 was re-scheduled to May 16 in keeping with the Texas Election Code that requires the city council convene to conduct the local canvass of votes not earlier than the eighth day or later than the eleventh day after the election.
