At their regular meeting Thursday, the Iowa Park CISD School Board approved a proposed tax rate of $1.41 per $100 valuation that is down two cents from last year’s $1.43. “Anytime we have the opportunity to lower the tax rate two cents, that’s always good for the district and our constituents,” said Superintendent Steve Moody.
