Patricia (Pohlmann) Hilley

Patricia Ann Hilley, 63, passed away on June 25 at her home in Wichita Falls.

A memorial service in celebration of her life was held yesterday, July 8, at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home chapel.

Patricia was born on June 19, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Harold Wayne Pohlmann and Rosemary Harsh Pohlmann,

She was Salutatorian of her high school graduating class at Iowa Park High School. She and John D. Hilley, Jr. were married on September 21, 1983 in Iowa Park. They had two daughters, Jennifer and Tiffany.

Patricia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Midwestern State University. She was employed at Bank One for 18 years, and retired after 22 years as the major’s secretary at the James V. Allred Unit, Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

As a young lady, Patricia was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, sang in the choir, and volunteered where needed. She was a supporter of Girl Scouts and was involved in all scouting activities with her daughters.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Wayne Pohlmann.

Survivors include her husband, John D. Hilley; daughters Jennifer Womack and Tiffany Hilley; mother, Rosemary Pohlmann; two brothers, Robert Pohlmann and Howard Wayne Pohlmann; and two grandsons.
