Michael Dewayne Green

Michael Dewayne Green, 70, passed away Friday, July 30, in Iowa Park.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Grace Baptist Church, 509 South Colorado.

Mike was born on August 4, 1950 in Wichita Falls. He and Elizabeth Ellen Green were married Jan. 1, 1983. The two moved to Iowa Park in 1994 and made it their home. Together Mike and Ellen opened a restaurant. He enjoyed taking his friends and family to gun shows and looking for Hot Wheels. His last great project was making walking canes. In his honor, his family asked those who he bestowed a cane to, to take them to his services.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ellen Green; parents, J.O. Green, and Cleta Mae Allen; and his brother, Steve Green.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Wilson, Jacqueline Gilmore, Glenn Tucker, Carol Kindsfather, Michael Green, Jr., and Elissa Berefsky; his brother, Kirby Green, nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
