Mary L. Rogers

     Mary L. Rogers, 96 left to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 15, 2021.

      Mary was a resident of Electra since 1957 and owned and operated the Kozy Kourt Motel for most of her life. She was also a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. As a teenager during World War II, Mary worked at Tinker Air Force base in Oklahoma City to help assemble aircraft for the U.S. military.

      Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Billy Ray Rogers, her daughter Karen Sue Mullen, her parents Joseph and Anna Belle Slaymaker, sister Helen Blohowiak, sister Frances Barton, sister Darlene Grove, sister Joann Jones, and sister Norma Jean Eilers.

      Mary is survived by her daughter Doris Ann Armentrout of Electra, a son Paul Dunsmore of New York City, a step-son Michael Rogers of Wichita Falls, 4 grandsons; David Mullen of Electra, Greg Mullen of Vernon, Robert Sean Dunsmore and Kevin Letcher, both of Wichita Falls, 7 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, plus countless nieces and nephews.

      Services will be held Friday, November 19th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Electra.
