Laurie Michelle Black

Laurie Michelle Black, 52, of Kamay, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26.

Celebration of Life will take place from 5 until 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at The Warehouse, 1401 Lamar, Wichita Falls.

A daughter of Andrea (Rizan) and James Artie Woods, Laurie was born on July 9, 1969, in Wichita Falls. She graduated from WFHS in 1987. She was the co-owner of Lonestar RV Repair. Her favorite hobby was watching her newborn calves romp around the pasture.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Virginia Rizan; and Harley and Opal Woods.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Black; sisters, Jonna Woods, Jamie Woods, and Alicia Schmitz; also her fur babies, Ranger and Callie.
