Janet Price Byerly

     Janet Price Byerly, 76, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Taylor, Grace Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the funeral home.

     Janet was born September 12, 1945 in Quanah, Texas to Carl and Fannie (Ritchie) Price. She was proud to be a part of the second graduating class of Hirschi High School, graduating in 1964. She went on to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse and worked at Medical and Surgical for over 20 years before moving on to the State Hospital where she retired. Janet loved singing, Elvis, and her animated Christmas Toys. Janet was preceded by her parents; her husband of 28 years, Merlin Byerly; sister, Carol Gore; two brothers, Billy Price and Harry Price.

     Surviving relatives include her daughter, Melina Arrington and husband, Gerald of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandsons, Grady Arrington and wife, Ruby of Wichita Falls; Garth Arrington and wife, Lauren of Wichita Falls; great granddaughter, who called her GiGi, Ashlynn Arrington; sister, Linda Rowe and husband, Ron of Iowa Park; sister, Joan Lucas and husband, Randy of Iowa Park; sister, Judy Appleby and husband, Dennis of Wichita Falls
