James Lee Remington Bever

     James Lee Remington Bever, 19, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 in Iowa Park, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Lakeview Church of God with Pastor Daniel Robertson officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

     James was born December 4, 2001 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Travis Lee Bever and Hally Rena (Williams) Bever. He was a 2020 graduate of Iowa Park High School where he was a member of the Iowa Park Hawk football Team and played the Alto Saxophone in the Iowa Park Mean Green Marching Machine Hawk Band. James had just begun his freshman year of college at Midwestern State University. He loved spending his free time hunting with his dad, brother, and especially his Papaw. James loved his friends big and had a deep bond with his nieces and nephews. His infectious smile and hugs will be missed.

     Surviving relatives include his mother, Hally Rena Davis and her husband, Steve; father, Travis Lee Bever and his wife, Jennifer; sister, Kaitlynn Freeman and husband, Zackery; brother, Joseph Bever and Kaegan Shuck; brother, Ayden Davis; and many bonus siblings. James is also survived by his grandparents, James Bever and wife, Kassy; and Sherrie Williams and husband, Floyd, all of Iowa Park, Texas; Connie Bever of Anderson, Indiana; and Homer and Nancy Davis of Wichita Falls, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
