Jack Headings
Jack Eugene Headings, 86, passed away Saturday, July 13, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Lakeview Church of God with Pastor Daniel Robertson officiating.
Graveside services followed at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Jack was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Milroy, PA., to Charles F. Headings and Lena (Reed) Runk. He graduated high school in 1950. Upon graduating, Jack enlisted into the United States Air Force. On June 30, 1952, he married Glenna Allen in Henrietta. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2001. On Feb. 13, 2003, he married Wanda Loggins. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2011. He spent many years as a truck driver, worked 14 years for Cook’s Flying Service, and seven years at the City of Iowa Park. He was a member of Lakeview Church of God where he played the steel and bass guitars. He was also a member of the Proclaimers Band. He enjoyed traveling, music, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives; and 10 siblings.
Surviving relatives include his children, Barbie Johnston, and Jackie Headings, both of Iowa Park, and Clinton Loggins and Jay Loggins both of Wichita Falls; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
