Ellie Hope Thompson 2018-2020

Ellie Hope Thompson, 1, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 in Iowa Park, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Pastor Tim Franks officiating. Private interment will be held at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Ellie was born December 12, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. She loved dancing and playing on her farm, especially with her baby goat and her “bawk-bawks” (chickens). Ellie was her daddy’s best friend and the boss of her family. Her siblings catered to her every desire, and she was her mommy’s shadow. Anyone who knew her loved her. Ellie taught her family how to love unconditionally just as our Father loves us, and they’re clinging to that love now.

Surviving relatives include her parents, Cory and Kelley Thompson; siblings, Marie, Addison, Braelyn, Cooper, and Kaycee; grandparents, Larry and Carol Thompson and Chris and Debbie Klein, all of Iowa Park; Darrell and Sandy Billington of Levelland, Texas; and great grandparents, Tom and Bernice Crites of Iowa Park; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
