Doris Jean Corder

Doris Jean Corder, 79, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Lakeview Church in Iowa Park, Texas with Pastor Daniel Robertson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Doris was born August 14, 1942 in Simpson, Illinois to John and Irmal (Robinson) Childress. She married Carl Greene on October 28, 1961 in Galena, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2008. Doris then married Gerald Corder on June 24, 2010 in Holliday, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2021.

Doris worked as a Teacher’s Aide for numerous years at the Bryson ISD.

Surviving relatives include her sister, Teri Smith of Vienna, Illinois; five daughters, Karla Windhorst and husband, William of Metropolis, Illinois; Janet Manning of Golconda, Illinois; Debbie Stubbs and husband, Scott of Iowa Park; Tammy Grantham and husband, Jerry of Middleburg, Florida; and Brittany Owen and husband, Richard of Converse, Texas; grandchildren, Heather McGinnis, Jonathan Windhorst, Casey Windhorst, Brandon Greene, Morgan Barto, Dakota Stubbs, and Jacob Griffin; numerous great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
