Donald Lee Rhodes 1940-2020

Donald Lee Rhodes, 80, passed away Thursday, June 18.

Services were held in Burkburnett at Lighthouse Church Tuesday with Pastor Bobby Scott officiating. Interment was held at Fairview Cemetery in Randlett, OK.

Don was born on June 4, 1940, in Wichita Falls, son of Bill and Dora Rhodes. He served as local home builder and contractor in Wichita Falls for 35 years. He was an avid fishermen and served as a counselor and confidant to many friends in Wichita Falls who suffered from the affects of alcohol abuse.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bill; mother, Dora; brother, Johnny; grandson, Micheal, and two great-grandchildren, Isabell and baby Maurer.

Survived by wife, Judy; children, Donald P. Rhodes of Crowell, and Billy Jay Rhodes, Becky Ann Rhodes, and Michael David Rhodes, all of Wichita Falls, Pam Lowery, Priscilla Truitt, Ray Oldham, Jr., and Stacey Mullins, all of Fort Worth; brother, Jerry Rhodes of Wichita Falls; sisters, Joan Rushing of Randlett, OK., and Peggy Gales of Iowa Park; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
