Coy Lynn Compton

Coy Lynn Compton, 77, of Wichita Falls, formerly of Iowa Park, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17. A Celebration of Life service was held at Sunday, at Evan-gel Church in Wichita Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. She was born on June 5, 1942, to Coy and Audra Blagg in Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Phillip; and her daughter, Jackie Lynn. Survivors include her husband, Mike Compton of Wichita Falls; her brothers, Roy Blagg of Shawnee, OK., and Danny Blagg of Thackerville, OK.; son, Kelly Compton of Houston; daughters, Sandra Hopper and Raylyn Schmidt, both of Wichita Falls; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, TX 76310.
