Charlotte Ann Yates

Charlotte Ann Yates, 91, of Wichita Falls passed away Saturday, Nov. 13.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Charlotte was born on Sept. 10, 1930, in Wichita Falls to the late Verna Goldsmith and Cleo Bessie (Byrd) Ross. She married Allen Yates on Jan. 13, 1967 and the couple were married for 23 years until his passing in 1990. She farmed and ranched all of her life. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her animals, and nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Vickie Clark; one sister; and three brothers.
