Billy Overstreet

Billy Overstreet, 88, of Petrolia, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Jan. 4, in the Petrolia Cemetery in Petrolia with Rev. Emie Dunn, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.

Billy was born on June 26, 1933, in Petrolia, to Carnie Clark and Ida Mae (Cornutt) Overstreet. He served in the US Army and was a retired Truck Driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carnie and Ida Mae Overstreet; sister, Betty Lois Summers; and grandson, Joshua Stewart.

Survivors include one son, Todd Overstreet of Iowa Park; two daughters, Tracie Jinkins of Iowa Park, and Tami Haggerty of Holiday; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Petrolia Senior Citizens at 111 N. Prairie Ave., Petrolia, Texas 76377 or the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department at PO Box 39, Petrolia, Texas 76377.
