Arlen Shook

Arlen Shook, 84, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas. Services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery. 

Arlen was born March 30, 1936 to Winfred B. Shook and Melba (Phillips) Shook. He married the love of his life, Billye Henderson, on June 7, 1956 in Iowa Park. Arlen was a 1953 graduate of Iowa Park High School. He worked for 33 years for the Wichita Falls Times Record News. He enjoyed golfing, bluegrass music, and playing dominos. 

Arlen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billye Shook; and sister, Norma Beall. 

Surviving relatives include his two sons, Ricky Shook and his wife, Pam; Craig Shook and his wife, Diane, all of Iowa Park; five grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
