“Buster” Gerald Dean Wright April 08, 1961 - August 26, 2020

“Buster” Gerald Dean Wright, 59, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A graveside service was held on Saturday August 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery, Iowa Park, Texas. Services were under the direction of Falls Funeral Home.

He was born April 8, 1961 in Shawnee, OK to Roy Wright, Jr. and Darlene Jean (Jackson) Wright. Buster lost his courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy and Oklahoma Sooner fan. He was a professional house painter.

He was preceded in death by his mother Darlene; nieces, Lacey, Jessica and Christina Wright; and nephews Justin Green and Jonathan Woodman.

Buster is survived by his father Roy Wright, Jr.; two sons Lance Wright of Moore Oklahoma and Alton Wright of Yukon Oklahoma; three beautiful grandsons Alexander, Blaize and Jameson; siblings: Dana Myers of Alamosa Colorado, Melynda Mitchell and husband Danny of Burkburnett, Texas, Lesa Green and husband Ray of Mannford Oklahoma, Anita Brantley and husband Greg of Wichita Falls, Richard Wright and wife Cheryl of Iowa Park, and Sandra Assel and husband Kevin of Kingston Missouri; as well as numerous family and friends.
