Iowa Park FFA students attend state convention
Iowa Park High School FFA members at the State FFA Convention in Fort Worth.
Several members of the Iowa Park High School chapter of Future Farmers of America (FFA) attended the 94th annual Texas FFA State Convention this past week in Fort Worth.
Wesley Rousseaux represented Iowa Park FFA at the Texas FFA Rodeo in Team Roping.
Cason Green gave his Soil Stewardship speech at the state level.
Madison Taylor, Alaina Rojas, Aiden Mesler and Bethany Blackwell competed in the Quiz Bowl.
Hayden Lovelady completed his Area FFA Officer duties.
Shelby Sanders, Hayden Lovelady, Micah Swenson, Landon Brockriede and Haven Sanders all walked the state to receive their Lone Star Degrees. Alaina Rojax completed her Courtesy Corps duties.
The Iowa Park FFA Officer team met together to plan out the upcoming school year.
The FFA members heard a presentation from Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe. Finally, workshops and general sessions were attended. Students voted for new state officers, their favorite talent team, and elect the new state president.
It was a long but rewarding week for the students.
