Marianne Moer Reaves

Marianne Moer Reaves passed peacefully on April 15, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Mr. Randy Kaper, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Marianne was born in West Germany on June 12, 1955 and 10 months later she was adopted by the late Joseph Anton and Joann (Neely) Moer and brought to Wichita Falls.  She attended Iowa Park High School. Later, she met Monty Reaves and the couple married on October 24, 1980. Marianne worked for Humphrey Printing Company as a bookkeeper for many years until they closed, and then she worked for Triple M Business Forms, where she continued to meet many friends in the printing business.

 Marianne never met a stranger and if you ever met her, she would remember you and your name for years to come.  She always had a story to tell and loved to talk to anyone about her grandbabies. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb and could keep many a plant alive as well as grow gorgeous roses from just a stem.

 Marianne is survived by her husband, Monty Reaves; her children, Mindy and husband Tyler Harendt of Lubbock, and Mitchell and wife, Meghan Reaves of Mayport, Florida; as well as the light of her lives, her grand kids, Makaley, Mason, Jackson, Makenzi, and Emma; and as well as other numerous relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls 4909 Johnson Rd, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
