Scot Owen Ruhser

Scot Owen Ruhser, 53, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Iowa Park, Texas. There will be a private memorial to celebrate his life. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Scot was born January 15, 1969 in Iowa City, Iowa to Willis and Connie (Rierson) Ruhser. He worked as a Fuel Hauler for BMH Oil Company. Scot was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, had a love for cars, and spending his younger years at the Mississippi River with his life-long friend, Brian Holland. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Scot was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include daughter, Brooke Landers and husband, Darryl of Poteet, Texas; grandsons, Wyatt and Morgan Landers; his life-long best friend, Lesley Ruhser of Wichita Falls, Texas; and step-child, Heather Paulson and husband, Charlie; step-grandchildren, Christopher and Hadley; stepchild, Jeremy Dorzab and wife, Denise; and step-grandchildren, Caitlynn and Colton.
