Carol R. Stevenson

Carol R. Stevenson, 84, of Iowa Park, Texas, died November 9, 2021. She was born on April 13, 1938 in Vincennes, Indiana to the late John and Frances Coleman. She married James Stevenson on June 30, 1970 in Lawrenceville, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Bill and Herbie Coleman, daughter Gena Shoulders, Parents John and Frances Coleman, and husband James Stevenson.

She is survived by daughter, Donna Poore; two granddaughters, Sumer and Gracie Poore; sons Mike Stevenson, Jackie, Donnie and Charles; three step-sons, Jimmy, Gaylen, Jerry Wayne; three grandsons, Dustin Pilkington, Daniel Shoulders and Shawn Wyke; 12 great-grandchildren and a Chihuahua named Pedro.

She worked as a housekeeper, waitress and a housewife. She loved watching game shows, old westerns, Elvis Presley and her dog sitting in her lap.
