Anita LuJeane Adcock

     Anita LuJeane Adcock passed away on November 10, 2021.

      Services will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Iowa Park, Texas, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 10:30 AM.  Visitation will be Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5PM to 7PM at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.

      LuJeane was born on July 23, 1930 in Hillsboro, Texas, the daughter of the late Edna and John Arnold.  She retired as County Office Assistant, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farmers Home Administration, on August 1, 1990.  She enjoyed helping people with paperwork, and served on many committees at her church.  She was secretary/treasurer for the Naomi Sunday School Class for many years and was active at Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park.

      She married Herbert Wayne Adcock “Herb” in Hillsboro, TX, October 12, 1947.  He preceded her in death on November 22, 2015 after 68 years of marriage.

      Survivors include her beloved son, Timothy Arnold Adcock, who resides in Abilene, TX, brother Kenneth Lee Arnold and wife Nancy of Hillsboro, TX and many nieces and nephews.

      In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Building Fund of Faith Baptist Church, Iowa Park, TX, or Hendrick Hospice Care of Abilene, TX.

      Services will be under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home, Iowa Park, TX.
