Cletys Charles Stiles
Cletys Charles Stiles, a resident of Iowa Park, TX, passed away suddenly on Friday afternoon, November 5, 2021 west of Comanche, OK. he was 80 years old. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 10th at 1:00 p.m at Fairlawn Cemetery, north of Comanche, with Kenton Miser, his grandson, officiating. Viewing will be Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until noon. A memorial service will be held in Iowa Park at First Baptist Church on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
Cletys was born July 25, 1941 in Oklahoma City, OK to Willard and Marjorie (Montgomery) Pinnell. He and Barbara Ann Jennings were united in marriage on January 26, 1963 in Comanche, OK. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Cletys, or Butch as he was known to his family, was a jack of all trades, he could fix anything. He formally owned Montgomery Mattress in Wichita Falls. Texas. he also worked for Cryovac for over 30 years as an HVAC Specialist. Cletys and Barbara were active with the Friendly Door in Iowa Park where he loved to play dominos and was known for telling jokes.
His survivors include his wife Barbara, of the home; two children: Connie Miser and husband Bo, Wichita Falls, TX, and Steven Stiles and wife Shaffai, San Antonio, TX; one brother, Gary Pinnell, Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren: Shea Anzaldua and husband Andy, Shasta Stiles,Jenna Gilbert and husband Greg, Trey Honea, Kristan Fowler and husband Titian, Kenton Miser and wife Allie, Stacey Hughes, and Shelby Schroeder; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous cousin and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Pinnell, and one brother , Rodney Pinnell.
