Cecilia Lynch

Cecilia Lynch, 69, of Archer City, died Monday, Oct. 25, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services were held Saturday, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with her son, Tony Richardson, officiating. Interment followed at the Megargel Cemetery, arrangements were under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Cecilia was born on Feb. 28, 1952, in Durango, CO., to the late James Price Lynch and Dorothy Jean (Brewer) Lynch. She was a LVN/ MRT at Seymour Hospital and had been a school nurse as well. She was known as the “town nurse” in Megargel. She enjoyed playing dominoes and cards with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her Sunday School Class, the Ladies Bible Study. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wichita Falls.

Survivors include her step-father, Bruce Cox of Paducah; step-mother, Terry Lynch of Bowie; daughter Leia Johnson of Three Rivers; two sons, Tony Richardson of Wichita Falls and Charley Richardson of Archer City; three brothers, James P. Lynch of Wichita Falls, Timothy Lynch of Bowie and William Lynch of Sunset; three sisters, Jamie Prunty of Iowa Park, Delores Bragg of Wichita Falls and Beverly Stephens of Wichita Falls; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
