James Elgin Pressler

     James Elgin Pressler, 68 met his savior on Friday, October 8, 2021.  Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Saturday October 16, 2021, at the Iowa Park Rec Center.

      Jimmy was born to the late Thelma and Elgin Pressler on January 12, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Jimmy lived in Iowa Park all his life.  He Graduated from Iowa Park High in 1971 and received his Associates Degree from Vernon College.  He was employed by Work Service Corp from April 1972 to October 2018 when he retired.  He married his wife Therese Pressler May 28th, 1988. He was a local DJ for many years enjoying playing for many of the school dances, and local weddings.  He had a great relationship with all the kids and missed all of them when he had to give this up.  He never met a stranger, and had a Great Laugh, and smile which everyone loved.  He will be remembered by everyone for these great attributes.

      Preceding him in death were his Parents Thelma and Elgin Pressler, Sister Patricia Marie Pressler, and Niece Beth Downing.  He is survived by his Wife Therese Pressler, Children, Vanessa Hebel and Rowdy Hebel, Sister’s Nancy Stone, Kathy Everman & Husband Ernest, Brother Larry Pressler also many Niece’s & Nephews.
