Billy Don Rice

Billy Don Rice, 86, passed away Saturday.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Nelson officiating.

Interment was held at Wilbarger Memorial Park.

Billy was born to James and Mattie Rice on Oct. 14, 1934, in Quanah. He enjoyed classic cars, sports, country and gospel music, western television shows, junk food and his family. Billy married his wife, Anna Florence Reed on Jan. 6, 1952, in Vernon.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Reed Rice; his daughter, Bobbie “Susie” Lanelle Miller; his parents, James Rice and Mattie Rice Russum; and sister, Ruby Rice Doherty.

Survivors include his children, Mike Rice, Billy Rice, Deanna Swenson-Brown, Linda Trotter and Greg Rice; sister; Bobbie Inmon; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Electra Memorial Hospital.
