Jana S. Combs Woody

      Jana S. Combs Woody, 74, passed away on May 6, 2021 at Founders Plaza Nursing and Rehab in Wylie, TX.

     Jana was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Doyle F. Combs and Bernice Rogers Combs on January 19, 1947.  After Bernice’s death, Doyle remarried, and Jana was raised by her dad and stepmother Johnie L. Combs Brown.  Jana grew up and went to high school in Iowa Park, Texas.  Jana married Raymond Woody and they had 3 children, James H. Woody, Donald W. Woody, and Janet Woody.  Jana was a stay at home mom and was able to travel as a military wife. She has lived the last 20 years in Wylie, Texas.

     A memorial service and funeral will be at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park 06/26/2021 at 2pm .

     Jana is survived by her 3 children James, Donald, and Janet.  Her stepmother Johnie Combs Brown, her 2 brothers Doyle W. Combs, Gerald R. Combs, 3 sisters Sherrie L. Wagner, Jeri L. Fowler and Tracy R. Cathey, and her 8 grandchildren.
