Iowa Park students start new school year in one week
Students, teachers and staff at Iowa Park schools are preparing for the first day of the 2020-21 school year a week from today.
According to Superintendent Steve Moody on Tuesday, approximately 90-percent of parents have registered their students for in-person instruction, and 10-percent remote instruction.
Today is the deadline for parents to register returning students in Grades 1-12
Iowa Park school officials have also released the IPCISD 2020-2021 Return to School Plan and Information, a comprehensive guide to the upcoming school year.

The site gives information on online student registration, which runs through today, in addition to initial information from each of the four campuses.
Online Student Registration for Returning Students Grades 1-12 for the 2020-2021 School Year
• Thursday, August 6-Thursday, August 13 via Skyward Family Access
• Parents will choose Option 1: On-Campus Instruction or Option 2: 100% Online At-Home Instruction within online registration.
• Please click the forgot password link if you do not remember your password. If you still need assistance, please call your child’s campus.
• Incoming pre-k and kindergarten and new students will receive information from their campuses about registration. Middle School Student Registration
Registration for returning students ends today.
Parents of returning students should register their child on-line, pay Chromebook fees, and determine which type of learning their child will participate in, remote or in-person.
Due to COVID-19, there will not be a traditional orientation. Information will be sent out by email, WFGMS Facebook, and the Iowa Park Leader regarding back to school and health operations. Students will take items to school in a backpack the first day of school, Aug. 20.
New Student Registration
Parents of new students should register their child in the school office will continue through Monday.
Parents will need to take shot records, last report card, birth certificate, and social security identification, as well as proof of residency, such as a water bill, to registration.
Parents will complete a written packet of forms and will be provided with online log-on information. Bradford Elementary Meet the Teacher
Bradford’s meet the teacher will start at 6 p.m. Monday and continue through Wednesday with each grade having an assigned day and each student with an assigned time based on their last name.There are also special guidelines.
They include: One parent or guardian and you are asked not to take siblings; wear face covering or mask and no building tours will be given.
Students can take their supplies and meet their teacher during this time.

Kidwell
Meet The Teacher
Kidwell Elementary will hold a “meet the teachers” event starting Monday. Each grade has an assigned day and each student has an assigned time based on their last name.
Entry into the school for the event will be through the back door, near the cafeteria.

· No siblings allowed in.
· Masks and screenings will be mandatory for all.
