Cheryl Kaye Roberts

Cheryl Kaye Roberts, 58, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, in Wichita Falls, after a battle with Breast Cancer.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home.

Cheryl was born Sept. 30, 1961 in Fort Worth. She married Kris Roberts on Aug. 30, 1980, in Wichita Falls. She was a realtor for several years in the area. In earlier years, she worked mainly in childcare including being a foster parent for over 20 children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Monroe Layfield, Jr. and Wanda Fern (Balis) Dickson.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Kris Roberts of Iowa Park; children, Brandon Roberts of Bird City, KS., and Taylor Roberts of Iowa Park; brothers, Timothy Clark, Archie Layfield, Ronald Layfield, Michael Layfield, Thomas Dickson, and Kenneth Dickson; sisters, Angie Hutchinson and Kelly Campbell; and a grandson; along with six bonus grandchildren.
