Mackenzie Lauren Kellogg

Mackenzie Lauren Kellogg, 23, passed away after a lengthy battle with Leukemia, Friday, October 25, 2019 with her family by her side.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Highland Heights Baptist Church, 3003 York St., Wichita Falls, Texas with Bro. Frank Briggs, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.

Mackenzie was born July 3, 1996 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Danny Kellogg and Tiffany Stephens, both of Iowa Park, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Douglas Stephens of Electra, Texas, Tom Kellogg of Iowa Park, Texas; great-grandparents, Don and Gwen Kellogg of Iowa Park, Texas, Maidell Temples of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Joe Stephens of Hughes Springs, Texas, and Clarence and Ruth Koerth of Electra, Texas.

She is survived by her parents, Danny Kellogg and Tiffany Stephens; her brother, Hunter Kellogg; sister, Haven Kellogg all of Iowa Park, Texas; grand-parents, Don and Freda Wells of Saginaw, Texas, Glenda Thames of Electra, Texas; great-grandmother Alice Gilbert of Electra; her uncle, Matt Kellogg and aunt Shannon of North Carolina; aunt’s, Ashlea Shierry and husband Ryan of Holliday, Texas, and Megan Thames of Iowa Park, Texas; as well as numerous cousins, extended family and many friends.

Mackenzie was a 2014 graduate of Iowa Park. She enjoyed Tending Bar and was previously in the top 5 in Texoma. Kenzie, as she liked to be called, was a shining Star with a beautiful smile that lit up the room. She never met a stranger, and was a dear friend to many. Kenzie was spunky, sassy, out-spoken, and the Life of the party. She was positive and upbeat and most of all a Fearless Warrior. She had a talent not known to many, playing Chess, and was awarded a Chess Scholarship.

She loved watching WWE Wrestling and SpongeBob, and the Pittsburg Steelers will have a Cheerleader in Heaven cheering them on. Kenzie loved lake trips, the outdoors, and sitting on the porch at her Aunt and Uncles in North Carolina soaking in the Mountain views.

She will be greatly missed by many.
