Edie Bartett

Edie Bartlett, 69, of Electra, passed away Monday, July, 1, in Wichita Falls.

Services being held will be private.

Edie was born on July 12, 1949, in California to Houston and Mary Wallace Mendez. She married Gerald Bartlett on March 6, 1971, in San Diego, CA. She was a Special Ed Teacher’s Aide at W.F. George Middle School in Iowa Park. She had lived in Electra since 2010 moving from Weatherford.

She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and kids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Victoria Ann Hack.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Bartlett of Electra; daughter, Samantha Morgan of Weatherford; sisters, Nell Marie Cole of Iowa Park, Glenda Sue Brinkley of Amarillo, and Lucy Ellen Wright of Electra; brother: Scottie Ray Mendez of Abilene; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
