Catherine Whittingstall

Catherine Whittingstall, 94, a former longtime resident of Iowa Park, passed away January 20, 2019, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Catherine was born to Anthony and Philomena Paolillo of Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Westinghouse High School and worked in Pittsburgh until she met her husband of 57 years. She then traveled throughout the U.S. and Germany during his Army career. In 1962 they settled in Iowa Park, where she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She worked at Well’s Chevrolet in Iowa Park, and then at White’s Main Office in Wichita Falls. In 2002, they moved to Nebraska to live closer to their daughter.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Whittingstall and son, William Whittingstall. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy, of La Vista, NE, and grandchildren Clifford, Renee, Julie, Michelle, Jennifer, and Heather. She had six great grandchildren.

The visitation and prayer service were held at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion, Nebraska. The burial was at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
