Monday is deadline for Kidz Christmas applications

Iowa Park Volunteer Fire Department will accept applications for their Kidz Christmas program through Monday.

All toys will be delivered between 5 and 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21. There will not be a pickup site this year due to COVID-19.

The program is designed for those who needs assistance giving their child, from newborn to 16-years-old a Christmas gift, and might not otherwise receive a gift.

All gifts range from $5 to $20 and the fire department can make no guarantee that your child will receive the toy of his or her choice. No bicycles will be given.

All applications must be filled by custodial parent. Along with the application, proof of residency, such as utility bill or driver’s license, within the Iowa Park CISD must be turned in for toys to be received. This is strictly on a volunteer basis.

Applications can be picked up at Iowa Park City Hall or Tom Burnett Memorial Library.
