COVID-19 vaccinations widely available in Wichita County

As COVID-19 cases in Wichita County remained flat the past couple months, the Wichita Falls Wichita County Public Health District has begun reporting cases, hospitalizations, deaths and recoveries on Fridays only, contingent upon cases remaining steady or lower.

As of Friday, April 30, Wichita County was reporting 35 active cases, and four people hospitalized with the virus, three of those in critical condition.

Tuesday evening, it is reported that 29.46 percent of Wichita County residents, and 36.10 percent of Texans, are fully vaccinated.
