The ninth grade Hawk football team traveled to Burkburnett Thursday and came away with a 22-6 victory. The game was a tale of two halves where the Hawks scored all 22 points in the first two quarters, and had five turnovers in the second half.
Iowa Park’s Mean Green held the game close Friday for three quarters against thirdranked Canadian, but seven Hawk turnovers eventually led to a 41-20 Wildcat win.
