What could have been
I went up to the high school Monday ... kind of an afterthought ... but I understood that students were going to be checking their Chromebooks in for the year, and some athletes were going to be checking in their gear.
There were tables lined up at the front entrance to IPHS ... laptops and other devices for the majority of them, based on grade level. And at the end, a table for Lady Hawks to turn in their stuff.
Just walking up to them, it hit me all of a sudden.
We had missed out on so much this year.
